LIFE REFLECTION
Woodrow Clayton, better known as "Woody" was born January 25, 1953 to James and Dorthy Clayton, in Saint Louis, MO. Woody graduated in 1971 from Beaumont Highschool, where he grew up in the Saint Louis City area on Kennerly avenue. At Beaumont high school he was the editor and recorded for the Digest newspaper, a member of the yearbook committee and human relations committee. He took great pride in caring and loving for his close friends and family. He would often write letters and send words of encouragement for all of their accomplishments. He was extremely laid back and observant, but always listening. Woody attended Mizzou in Colombia, Missouri before accepting a job opportunity with McDonnell Aircraft Corporation. He enjoyed video games, but his favorite was Ms. Pacman, so much so that he had to purchase the game for his home. He filled rooms with laughter, jokes and the best conversations. He joyfully supported his Tri- Union AME church home, where he sang in the choir and was the superintendent of the Sunday school for many years. Woody joins his father, James, who proceeded him in death and leaves his mourning mother, Dorthy, favorite cousin Delores Rutledge and Carol Lovitt, a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, close family and friends.
