Patricia Ann Gunn
January 9, 1955 — July 17, 2012
On January 9th 1955, God blessed the world with a beautiful angel by the name of Patricia Ann Gunn, affectionately known to family and friends as "Ms. Pat". Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in Christian faith.
As a child, she explored many places and traveled over the world with her mother, Geraldine Sherrill, father, David Sherrill Sr., and only brother, David Sherrill Jr., (whom all preceded her in death). She loved them all dearly. She was an accelerated student and graduated two years early from Beaumont High school in 1971.
She married her husband, Andrew Gunn in 1975 and had 4 children, Andre Gunn, Ametra Gunn, Anthony Gunn, and Aisha Gunn. She was more than devoted to her family and she loved her children. After various health issues, she retired from General Motors where she worked as a parts specialist. She most enjoyed spending time with friends, watching her favorite baseball player, Albert Pujols, and creating lasting memories with her grandkids.
Patricia ascended to Heaven on the wings of an angel to be with her Heavenly Father on July 17, 2012.
She will be cherished and remembered by: her husband, Andrew Gunn; daughters, Ametra Gunn and Aisha Gunn; sons, Andre Gunn and Anthony Gunn; step sister, Jean Brown; 6 loving grandkids; 3 great-grandkids; a special cousin, Dorothy Dampier, special niece, Danielle Sherrill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
