June Phyllis Barber was born December 15, 1940, to the union of Weedie and Everette Sadler in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the youngest of two children. Her parents, and two sons, Anthony Barber and Marvin Barber proceeded her in death.
June was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. She professed Christ at an early. She was an active member of St Luke Memorial Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years. June was a person who enjoyed life to the fullest and was always full of faith and joy.
June retired from the Boeing Company (formerly McDonnel Douglas) in St. Louis, Missouri where she worked and served for many years.
June departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. June leaves to cherish her memories: one sister, Barbara Jean Sanders, two granddaughters: Chasity (Orville), Towanna Dunn, five great grandchildren: Kennedi, Demetria, Demonta’, Devin, Tay’Anna, four great-grandchildren: Kay’Syn, Cameron, Raelynn, Kay’Lani and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
