Enones Yvonne Berry

April 3, 1940 — July 6, 2012

ENONES "YVONNE" BERRY was born in Evergreen, Alabama on April 3, 1940 to the union of Annie E. and Kinzell Berry. Her parents; three sisters, Valis Safford, Ethel Thomas, and "Bea" Walker; four brothers, Eugene Berry, Billy Berry, Freddie Lee, and Ray Berry preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Christian Valley Baptist Church in Fair Hope, Alabama. She later moved to St. Louis, Missouri and joined Hamilton Baptist Church. Yvonne was educated in Fair Hope, Alabama, but later received her high school education in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked for F.W. Woolworth until they closed. Yvonne later worked as a cashier for Walgreens Drug Store for many years until retirement. She enjoyed life. She loved working, eating out at different restaurants and spending time with her family. She was very close to her sister, Erma and helped raise three of her nephews, Andra, Victor, and Mark Berry.

On Friday, July 6, 2012, God called Yvonne home from labor to reward.

Yvonne Berry leaves to rejoice at her home going: three loving and devoted sisters, Ethel Longmiris (Colorado), Mary Ann McManus (Rhode Island), and Erma Berry (St. Louis); one brother, Teagest Berry (Alabama); three devoted nephews, Andra, Victor, and Mark Berry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
